Now the woman is 26 years old. She continues to age, though not so quickly. According to the newspaper The Sun, the sad story of the Vietnamese began in 2008. She developed a severe allergic reaction to seafood. However, the girl could not afford to use the services of official medicine - she and her husband are not rich people.
Nguyen Thi Phuong, an itchy one, turned to alternative medicine. Relief came for a while. But at the same time, the girl began to notice signs of rapid aging with horror. Moreover, not only the face changed, but the whole body - the skin became wrinkled, saggy. Only hair, teeth, visual acuity and quickness of mind remained the same. Doctors cannot come to an unambiguous explanation of the reasons for what happened. Rapid aging is a rare phenomenon.
There were no more than two thousand cases recorded around the planet. Some doctors claim that this is lipodystrophy. With this disease, the subcutaneous fat layer rapidly disintegrates, and the skin sags. Steroid drugs that are used in alternative medicine could provoke the rapid development of the disease. Other doctors are convinced that Nugen Thi Phuong suffers from mastocytosis, a condition in which mast cells (histamine-producing cells involved in immune responses) build up in the skin and sometimes in other organs. This disease is incurable, you can only fight the symptoms.
But all doctors agree. That the girl needs to undergo a more thorough examination in order to establish a final diagnosis and try to find ways of treatment. The husband of a young woman, 33-year-old Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, says that he still loves his wife, despite the fact that she has changed outwardly almost beyond recognition.
