The village head of Novotroitsky (Volnovakhsky district), Alexander Vorozhbit, told the press that at night eight estates of his fellow countrymen were raided by a mysterious animal
There are broken cages, aviaries for birds, and a couple of prints in the courtyard of local resident Larisa Sedushova. Judging by their depth and size, a rather large individual inherited it. Perhaps the same Chupacabra ("goat vampire"), which has previously smoked badly in Ukraine.
The story of the village mayor was supplemented by businessman Vladimir Oleinik. Strange things are not the first time, he said. At first they were noticed by the residents of Prichepilovka - this is the name of a residential island, separated from the rest of the village by an industrial zone:
- One after another the cats began to disappear without a trace, then came the turn of the yard dogs. And even earlier, the foxes disappeared. The most daring men, armed with pitchforks and stakes, tried to comb the nearest forest. However, because of the windbreak, it became completely impassable.
However, the road to Prichepilovka turned out to be so confusing that without the help of a volunteer guide, software engineer of the village hospital Yana Usacheva, the Donbass correspondent would have simply got lost. Yana herself reacted to the raids of an unidentified individual without skepticism: on her initiative, her husband conducted lighting to the cage of a new settler of the estate - an eight-kilogram rabbit.
Vampire on the Hunt
Larisa Sedushova treated the journalist's visit with understanding.
“While I close the store,” she said, “the girls will take you to the backyard.
The owner's daughter Vika and her friend Alina Lobach turned out to be diligent guides. On the way, Alina said that she had found the killed duck in the yard of her grandmother's house. And she was very upset when she learned about the misfortune befell the neighbors.
“I am so sorry for Vika and Aunt Larissa,” she continued, deftly dodging the green branches and thorny tops of ripening pumpkins. - And Muhu is also sorry - after that night he eats almost nothing …

The fly, despite the nickname, turned out to be a serious dog.
- We, of course, did not weigh him, - Larissa shrugged. - But by eye he pulls over forty-odd kilograms. So, that morning, I gathered the breakfast for Muha, went out into the yard, and he was lying near the kennel … It looked as if I had suffered the most severe stress. He refused food. And then I noticed a suspicious silence. Usually by six in the morning, twenty-five ducks rolled such a concert of hungry people - at the other end of Novotroitskoye, you can probably hear … But here - not a gugu. I open the gate to the aviary - and my ducks are lying upside down. Outwardly, no damage is noticeable, only in the abdomen of each there are one or two punctures the size of a ten-kopeck coin.
Ferocious Kid folded
It is five minutes drive from the estate of Galina and Valery Terebovs to the center of the village. It is guarded by its impressive size Kid and two, according to the owner, "calls".
- As soon as you approach the gate to a stranger or a cat, - says the owner, - the trinity begins to break loose from the chains. I sleep lightly, the slightest noise - and I go to bypass the yard. Galina does not complain about hearing either. And that night it was surprisingly quiet. I can't even explain why none of the dogs raised the alarm, and how it happened that my wife and I did not hear the noise of breaking cells.
- If a rabbit is inadvertently picked up, - continues Galina, - he will scream like a child. But here something dragged them out of their cages, killed them, and they were silent … In the morning I went to ask them food, but only a few needed it. The poor fellows managed to escape through the hole into the winter aviary. Three small rabbits were missing, and the larger ones were piled neatly. No wounds, no blood, just a hole in front of the heart.
The size, as in the case of ducks, is about a ten-kopeck coin.
“Nobody saw the beast here,” Valery complains. “But conclusions about its size and intelligence can be drawn from the marks. He did not just burst into cells, but purposefully opened constipation.
We do not need remains, but a living individual
But he was seen, however, in the early morning haze, immediately by three residents of the Starobeshevsky village of Petrovskoe. According to them, the height of the pair of animals did not exceed one and a half meters and moved in leaps. The Starobeshevsky farmer also spoke about the meeting with the mysterious beast. All this could be attributed to the field of idle fiction, if not for the killed rabbits, birds and frightened sheep. According to the owner, they were in a locked barn, but an unknown visitor broke the lock. The straightened bars of the cages were also impressive.

- Small holes in the region of the heart, - he replies, - usually leaves a marten. But before that, she needs to kill a rabbit or a bird, and, as I understand it, there are no other wounds on the corpses. Could not leave a marten and such scratches on the cells. Only a very powerful, smart predator can do this.
- This is the first time I hear about the events in Petrovsky and Novotroitsky, - admitted the chief hunting expert of the region Vladimir Tonky. “I’ll talk with my Volvakh colleague, the village head, and together we will outline a program of emergency actions. I urgently ask the population: immediately inform about such incidents, and do not destroy the corpses of slaughtered rabbits and birds. It is advisable to keep the traces of night guests intact until the arrival of specialists. And if there is direct contact with a strange-looking animal, you need to be extremely careful. Any shooting to kill, except in cases of direct threat from him, is prohibited. We do not need remains, but a living individual, which can always be immobilized with the help of a sleeping charge.
The advice, given the current situation in the village, is very timely. As for emergency measures, most likely, the windbreak forest adjacent to Prichepilovka will be taken under control. It is possible that it is there that there may be one or two entrances to an extensive network of underground labyrinths, which, capturing the village of Petrovskoye, stretched from Novotroitskoye to the city of Komsomolskoye.
The dog killed the chupacabra
Before making a mischief in Donbass, the "goat vampire" was "spotted" in Ukraine and Russia.
Vinnitsa peasants suspect that the Chupacabra can swim. Like, she got to their houses along the river, which flows just a few meters from the cage where the rabbits spent the night.
The creature tore the board away from the cage along with the nails, and then neatly ripped open the carcasses. According to the hostess, the rabbits had wounds on their necks, the blood was most likely drunk - a clear sign that the legendary creature had smoked, which they could not catch.
Rumors about the tricks of the chupacabra in the vastness of Ukraine forced representatives of the Russian cryptobiological department of Cosmopoisk to join in its search. This is the story told by Galina Pryhnenko from the village of Vovkivtsi (Ternopil region), which is above the Sula River.
After an unknown creature several times took the life of her rabbits, the woman got a respectable watchman - a hybrid of the Central Asian Shepherd Dog with the Albay breed. The dog easily tore the metal chain, and barked so that the bear could die with fear.
- That night the dog barked strangely, - continues Galina Ivanovna. - It was about eleven o'clock in the evening. The dog barked as if he wanted me to get out. I went up to Diamond … Near his paws lay some small animal. At first it seemed to me that it was a rabbit. But when I took the prey of the Diamond in my hands, I discovered that it was some kind of outlandish animal. I brought the animal into the kitchen for a better look. It was very strange and ugly. I have never met such a beast: the tail is like a rat's, there is almost no hair, and all the teeth are like a predator's. I called my son Vitaly, and he filmed the strange animal on a mobile phone camera.
After that, we took the animal into the yard and gave it to the dog. In the morning, the dog again brought him to us, already without a head and one paw. We began to examine the beast together with our neighbors. He weighed about five kilograms, length - only 70 centimeters and looks like a monster - like a hybrid of a cat, rabbit, kangaroo and rat. And the animal smelled so much that we decided to take it to the forest and bury it.
An unusual find became known in the area, and two days later hunters and veterinarians came to the village. Having dug up the animal, we examined it again. But no one could say what kind of an animal the dog had brought, so the hunters decided that perhaps there was his den somewhere nearby, and went to investigate the nearest swamp. - We went around the entire outskirts, - says the hunter Grigory Bliznyuk … “In addition to guns, we had bottles that we knocked on loudly. They walked around everything, shouted and knocked, drove the fox out, but found no one else. In addition, we noticed one oddity. In past years, for example, there were a lot of hares in our forests, but now they are almost gone. In winter, we found many dead hares … We heard that in the neighboring Chernihiv region, we have already met this very Chupacabra. Probably, she showed up at our place and strangled all the hares in the area. We thought that we would find her, but we failed …
Eight days later, a research group arrived at the site of the find. The group is headed by a biology teacher with 30 years of experience, coordinator for the study of cryptobiological objects in Ukraine of the public research association "Cosmopoisk" Vladimir Litovka. The animal, unknown to science, was excavated again, examined, photographed and left. And the next day, the head of the group received a call from Galina Ivanovna's son. The guy said that at night someone dug up the body of the animal and took it with him. At the same time, no traces remained at the burial site.
“Burying the body of an unknown animal, we wrapped it in a plastic bag,” said Vladimir Litovka. - So, some unknown animal came and gently, by its hind legs, pulled it out of the bag and carried it away. Interestingly, the unpleasant smell that followed us after the first excavation for a whole day disappeared. Now neither the bag nor the cloth smells. It turns out that these animals do not abandon their own, but take with them and, like people, bury …

Meanwhile, a mysterious nocturnal predator killing cattle appeared near Novosibirsk at the Tolmachevsky state farm. In three farms, an unknown animal killed five goats and two sheep. The victims look the same everywhere: the belly is torn off by claws on both sides, as if someone jumped on the back of the goat from behind, and there are bite marks on the neck, two small neat dots. Through which the poor fellows sucked all the blood.
- My dog sat numb, with glassy eyes, - said one of the victims, Natalia Grigorevskaya. - The door to the goat barn was open. One of them lies right in the doorway. Probably trying to run out. The neighbor who suffered first (lost three goats) could not lure the dog out of the kennel for several days. So he got scared of something.
On the ground near Natalya's shed, two deep potholes have survived: here some creature jumped over the fence in one jump. And inside the woman found a clump of hair caught in the wire, and obviously not goat's, - a long, reddish color.
In the field, they also managed to find an unusual print of two massive fingers with sharp claws and a third, also clawed, slightly set aside, like a thumb on a human hand. And they come across different sizes - that is, at least two individuals wander in the area.
