Where the "city of birds" (Sippar) once stood - only scorched earth …

The long text, known as the Myth of Atrahasis, begins the story of the history of the "gods" and people on planet Earth with the visit of the "god" Anu, who wanted once and for all to put an end to the enmity between his two sons (Enki and Enlil), which led to tension and conflicts between almost all "gods", divided into opposing clans. As a result, the division of the earthly territories took place, which, however, did not become a panacea for all ills, since Enki, who inherited only Africa and water areas, remained dissatisfied … This dissatisfaction passed to the sons and other members of the "snake clan" (the snake with the horns of a bull) became the basis of a smoldering conflict, which soon grew into a violent clash.

A number of ancient texts describe in detail how the Anunnaki founded settlements in YEDIN (Sumer), and all of them were built according to a general plan, and each performed a specific function. An extremely important cosmic communication - the ability to constantly maintain contact with the "celestial center" - before the Flood was carried out from the command post of Enlil in Nippur, the center of which was a semi-dark room called DUR. AN. KI, or "sky-earth communication."

Another important building was the spaceport located in Sippar ("City of Birds"). Nippur was located in the center of concentric circles along which other "cities of the gods" were built; collectively, they formed the landing corridor for the arriving spaceships.

And then a flood "swept across the Earth", destroying all the cities of the "gods" along with the mission control center and spaceport, and burying Edin under millions of tons of mud and silt. Everything had to be started all over again - but most of the objects could not be reproduced exactly. First of all, it was required to build a new spaceport and a new control center. Everything after the Flood looked like this:

Subsequently, as we know, the Sinai spaceport was destroyed as a result of a missile and bomb attack, like some other objects. The confrontation between the clans and the permanent struggle for power led to such a deplorable outcome …
