A group of American scientists working at the University of Michigan carried out extensive research, with the help of which they managed to develop a new technology that allows them to restore bones. It is based on the use of unique nano-shells, with the help of which physicians will be able to treat fractures at a qualitatively new level. This is described in foreign scientific publications.
According to the sources, scientists are going to deliver nano-shells to damaged bones, where due to the new technology, an intensive production of bone tissue will be provoked, due to which fracture treatment will be accelerated. To date, according to researchers, their method helps in the treatment of not only bones and joints, but also caries.
By the way, at the moment, American scientists have already tested their new technology on laboratory mice that suffered from osteoporosis. The researchers said that after the rodents, they will move on to larger animals, and if their trials are successful, they will begin testing the technology in humans.
