A disappointing forecast for the future regarding changes in climatic conditions on Earth was made by a team of international scientists.
Currently, most climatologists are of the opinion that global warming will bring catastrophic consequences for our planet and humanity, which, in their opinion, will continue in the coming decades. But members of an international expert group at the UN, who have focused on long-term forecasting of mean planetary temperature, are of the opposite opinion.
Scientists believe that in the near future, earthlings will face a sharp cooling, moreover, a very significant one. According to their forecasts, the average temperature on Earth by 2050 will be about two degrees Celsius.
Climatologists explain that, of course, global warming is not going anywhere. At the same time, they note that recent trends indicate a serious decrease in temperature affecting our entire planet.
Experts are convinced that in the very near future the average temperature on Earth will drop by at least five degrees, and this will not stop the temperature drop. The fall in the average planetary temperature will continue and after 35 years the temperature in most of the territory of our planet will hardly exceed zero degrees Celsius.
“Governments of different countries should already be concerned about a large-scale change in our climate today, because tomorrow it may be too late,” warned UN expert Robert Watson, who, together with his colleagues, predicted a catastrophic cold snap.
