Scientists, studying travel in the Universe, compared the Earth to a "space prison". In fact, our species is closed on this planet, Science Alert reports.
Humanity, like all life on Earth, emerged with great expenditure of cosmic forces. About 4.5 billion years ago, cosmic particles joined together and since then our history began. But for this, the Universe needed a huge (by our standards) amount of energy for everything to go right.
Now people cannot leave the Earth so easily. Only recently, scientists were able to start space research and send spaceships through the solar system, but it is too early to talk about human travel. To leave the Earth, you need a very large amount of energy, which must be generated on the planet using fuel.
Plus, don't forget about the force of gravity and friction. Ideally, spaceships should weigh very little, but due to sophisticated technologies, a large amount of fuel and the weight of people, they come out quite massive.
