Who does not know that a lot of people live in China, which is why false information is even spread in Russia that the PRC is sorely lacking its own lands, and therefore the Chinese are looking with lust at the Far East of our country. However, few people at the same time know that China has tens of thousands of square kilometers of its undeveloped lands, which they have yet to improve and settle down, as, probably, to the Russians the boundless Siberia and the Far East.
The latest data suggest that the Chinese are gradually beginning to address this issue. At least, it became known that the staff of Chongqing Jiaotong University not only invented, but already tested in practice a unique technology for the fertilization of lifeless deserts, of which there are many in China.
In the first experiment, scientists chose 200 hectares of one and five deserts located on the territory of Inner Mongolia, and literally part of the territory once abandoned due to large-scale coal mining was turned into a green oasis.
Chinese scientists have invented a special paste that allows, as if by magic, to dramatically change the ecological situation - for the better. On contact with sand, such a paste retains moisture, nutrients and even attracts precipitation, since it promotes the rapid spread of fungal colonies. For those who are not in the know, we inform you that it is the mushrooms that attract and collect clouds over their territory. In deserts, as you know, there are no mushrooms (for example, in the same Sahara), and although the seas and oceans are all around, it practically does not rain over these lifeless sands.
The Chinese have so far tried their miracle paste on 200 hectares of lifeless soil, turning it into green fields planted with corn and sunflowers. The next project of Chinese researchers should be the restoration of forests on these five deserts - according to the plan, 50 percent of the lifeless territories of China should be turned into forests in the future. And all this thanks to the current invention. To begin with, it is planned to change the ecology of 13 thousand hectares of desert land.
