Indonesia - the legacy of the ancient gods …
"Saw, Shura, they are golden!..". If you dig deeply, you can find real gold, moreover, associated with sacred relics - and ancient gods, who, as we already know, were by no means just "mythical creatures" … In the Indonesian province of Central Java, when laying a water pipe, I was accidentally discovered an ancient stone ark with 22 gold plates dedicated to the ancient divine guardians.
The find was made in the village of Ringhilarik. The builders accidentally stumbled upon a small stone ark measuring 14 by 13.5 centimeters. Its height is only six centimeters. Archaeologists were invited to the site and removed the find from the ground. Inside were 22 thin plates made of high-grade 18-carat gold.
Scientists note that they are in excellent condition. Each plate has inscriptions in the Old Javanese language. They are dedicated to the so-called lokapals - the gods of the cardinal points. The names of eight of them are engraved on the plates, in particular, the gods Indra, Yama, Varuna and others.
Javanese Hinduism also includes a ninth patron god of the center. Collectively, these deities are called Devata Nava Sanga, or the nine divine guardians. Preliminary analysis showed that the plates were created about five centuries before the emergence of the Majahapit Empire, a state that existed on the island of Java from the 13th to the 16th century.
