HAARP, which stands for High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, is a program launched by the US government in 1996 to study the ionosphere and improve the country's air defense.
Despite the fact that by 2014 the program was quietly blown away, US residents still attach to it those manifestations of the vital activity of nature that do not fit into their picture of the world: earthquakes, tornadoes, crop failure, and others.
