Years of acquaintance with the testimony of eyewitnesses who had experience of being inside the so-called "Zhiguli mirages" inevitably raises the question - is it only "mirages" inherent in the formation of certain passages between different spaces - ours and some others, the location of which is still unknown?

A detailed analysis of the messages that we carefully record and store, no matter how strange they may seem at first, gave its results.

There was one more reason that prompted us to search for similar phenomena in the testimony of eyewitnesses, which, at first glance, had nothing to do with chronomirages. Our good friend - a Siberian woman Tatyana I., who came to stay on the banks of the Volga, returned from another walk with the question: "Do people often disappear behind the pillars?"

The reason for the question was a casual passer-by who, in front of a strolling woman, went behind a lamppost and … did not leave because of it. Probably, from the outside it looked rather ridiculous, as Tatiana looked behind the post. But where the man went, she did not understand. During her two-week visit, there were three such "disappearances" in different parts of our city.

In general, the number of such “disappearances to nowhere” and “appearances from nowhere” is in the tens. Here are some examples.

Togliatti, St. Razin, between 4th and 10th quarters

One of our eyewitnesses by the name of Vadim (the name has been changed at his request) in the middle of a summer day was traveling in a trolleybus from the Old City to the New. There were very few people, about five or six people for the whole salon. At the Volzhskie Zori stop, a young man, fair-haired, dressed in light-colored clothes, entered the trolleybus. As usual in such cases, his clothes made him feel brand new, completely dust-free. He sat down facing Vadim and for some reason looked at him attentively and smiled slightly.

It looked somewhat unusual - why would a young man smile at another young man? But leave aside those thoughts that, I think, in our time first of all come to mind. Looking out the window for a second, Vadim returned with his gaze to the salon. This young man … was not there. The trolleybus was just approaching the Polyclinic stop. The doors did not open. Nowhere to hide and no one behind. There is no one in the driver's cab (of course, except for the driver). The passenger disappeared. How he did it, only he knows. Disappeared and that's it.

Togliatti, Moskovsky Prospect, territory towards the Volzhsky Automobile Plant

Another time … a car disappeared. This incident happened on Moskovsky Prospekt in that part of it that goes outside the city and goes to the plant. Several people were standing at the bus stop, including a woman with full shopping bags and Alexander, who later told us this story. Shifting while waiting for the transport, Sasha got to the edge of the stop and even walked out of it in the direction of traffic. The woman with the string bags also did not stand next to the others. It was this restlessness that allowed them to become observers of an unusual event. A trolleybus approached the stop and opened the doors. Behind the trolleybus at high speed two cars were catching up - a dark "seven" and a light "nine". Both of them disappeared behind a standing trolley bus and almost immediately had to appear from behind it, but … only a dark "seven" appeared. "Nine" did not slow down, did not turn to the side - everything was too well visible around. She just disappeared with a slight pop.

Volzhsky automobile plant

Another such "disappearance" happened in one of the VAZ workshops. The woman on duty, who was sitting at the control at the entrance to the workshop, noticed that a decent-looking man in brown woolen trousers was sitting opposite her on the floor. Deciding to put things in order, she was headed in his direction, but right in front of her eyes the man … disappeared. He did not get up and left, but he simply did not become visible, and that's it. Have you seen it? May be. But then what did this factory woman dream about?

She was driving to work in a Gazelle. When approaching her insert, she moved from the back seat to the most forward seat, next to the exit. On the other side of the same seat was a passenger, fair-haired and benevolent. Our heroine asked the driver to drive closer to the 8th insert in order to walk less - she was late. The second woman asked her: "Is this the 8th insert?" - "Yes". - "Are you getting out here?" - "Yes" - "Then, perhaps, and I'll go out here." She also gave the money to the driver, left, saying to her fellow traveler: "Happy to work!" Immediately giving the money for himself (without change, that is, quickly), our informant immediately followed that woman, deciding to talk to her on the way, but … she was nowhere to be found. There were no other people, no buildings, no cars around to hide behind.

St. Petersburg (in those years it was still called Leningrad)

We began to look for similar ones in the archives of Russian researchers. And we found a lot of similar examples. For example, one of these cases occurred at the end of winter in the now distant one thousand nine hundred and eighty-one in one of the hotels in the city of St. Petersburg. Three female employees were at their workplaces in the lobby. Suddenly a man appeared in the hall. He did not walk from the front doors and did not leave the elevator, as all "normal" visitors do. The man was heading straight from the middle of the column - one of three in the center of the hall.

- Girls, where can I call here? he asked loudly. The employees exchanged glances, as it was not customary to speak loudly in the hotel, and tenants usually adhered to this rule. They gave him a phone number, warning that it was a business phone, and he uses it as an exception.

Promotional video:

- I know everything, but this is an urgent and important matter! I am a spaceship mechanic. We have a breakdown. If I don't find my mate, we won't be able to fly away.

To the hotel employees, the situation seemed like a joke, until they began to realize the very oddities in the stranger that brought the situation beyond reality.

“We were all shocked by this man’s voice,” said one of the women present. - Firstly, it is very loud, as if passed through a microphone. Secondly, the voice was without any intonations and emotions - absolutely even, as if metallic, reminiscent of the voice of robots from movies. The words were deliberately separated by pauses. The impression was that before each word he took a breath, as if it was difficult for him to speak or he was sick. Some of us made a remark to him - say, they say, quieter. He nodded his head, but continued to speak with the same volume, as if he could not otherwise. Even a group of Finnish tourists who were nearby noticed this.”

The visitor looked like a completely ordinary European, only now he was dressed out of season, too lightly, and outside it was winter cold. But how did he get to the hotel? There was no satisfactory explanation for this. The main entrance was controlled by porters who did not let outsiders. Emergency exits are permanently locked. Doors were also on duty from the administrative block. And no one had the impression that this man came from the street. There was no frost from him, and his whole appearance did not indicate that he was cold or cold. From the subsequent conversation it became clear that the man had no idea where he was at all.

Having received a telephone set, the man took out some pieces of paper, dialed a number and began to talk to someone: “It's me. We need to meet urgently. Otherwise, we will not have time to repair … Otherwise, we will not take off … "He spoke like this for three or four minutes, and then turned to the hotel staff and literally shocked them with a question:" Girls, where am I? " One of the women was indignant: “How is it, where am I? How did you get here if you don't know where you are? " But her indignation remained unanswered. The stranger repeated the question urgently. This time he was answered with the name of the hotel. "Where is it?" - after another indignation, one of the employees named the address. - "Is there a metro here?" - "Yes." - "What's the name of the station?" - "Alexander Nevsky Square".

Making an appointment at this metro station, the man hung up, collected all his papers and thanked the women. When they asked if he lived in a hotel and who he would be, the stranger repeated that he was a spaceship mechanic. Then he took from the counter a heavy, apparently metal, suitcase, which he put there before the telephone conversation, and again introduced those present almost into a state of shock with amazement. He asked: "Excuse me, but how to get out of here?" One of the employees waved her hand towards the street. The swing came just towards the window.

- Right here? the man asked and pointed to the window.

- No, go there, through the door! - she showed him a more accurate way.

- How to get to the metro?

The way was explained to him. The man went to the door, but the women could not resist curiosity and not follow how he left the building. And, it turned out, curiosity brought the result. Here a man found himself in the gap between the glass wall and the door, this man had to pass the window (there was simply no other way) … but this did not happen. He dissapeared.

Isn't that crazy? Women asked themselves this question, trying to understand who they saw. However, the behavior of the stranger did not at all indicate some kind of mental abnormality. There was no visitor and drunk. All the hotel employees involved in this incident categorically deny this. And, excuse me, the way of its appearance (as well as the way of disappearing) is somewhat "unlike" the way we are used to moving in space. So who was he? Spaceship mechanic. In the absence, as they say, of evidence, it remains to take his word for it.

And again - Togliatti: the road from the dam of the hydroelectric power station to the square in front of the River Port

This story somehow unwittingly got the name "Five in brown". This is what a woman told us, at the end of the 70s, traveling by bus from Zhigulevsk to Tolyatti. Sitting at the final stop, she noticed that some pious grandmother was walking next to the bus and reading the Bible. The bus was about to leave, and the granny, crossing the door, entered and sat down next to her. The passengers were cheerful, the boys were sorting out the relationship, so there was a slight noise on the bus.

Before the "tenth pillar" the woman glanced out the window. The stop was empty, only two or three fishermen and their catch. When the bus opened its doors a couple of moments later, eight people had entered. Where did they come from? After all, just now there was no one … Five of those who entered looked somehow "wrong." Men are dressed in exactly the same way: brown raincoat, brown suit, brown tie, beige shirt, suede cap. The "doctor's" beard equally framed thin, completely impassive faces - not a hint of emotion. Only the eyes shone with amazing power, as if those who entered knew and understood much more people sitting on the bus. There was also a woman in this group, very similar to her companions, and also dressed in brown. True, with the general brown color of her clothes, a colored kerchief, worn instead of a scarf, was sharply discordant.

Everything would be fine if the faces of the men were not absolutely, to the smallest detail, the same, as if they took one negative and took several photographs from it. The five stood in a circle, back to back, apparently in order to control the entire surrounding area. Granny fussed, began to push her neighbor, they say, move over, let them sit down. There was nowhere to move, but the grandmother still grumbled: "Oh, how evil you are!" One of the "brown", without looking, said coldly: "She's worse."

Let's go further. The cheerful hubbub in the cabin subsided, even the boys calmed down. Willy-nilly, the woman continued to observe the strange passengers. They did not speak to each other, only exchanged glances, and the observer was absolutely sure that they were talking telepathically (it would seem, how could an ordinary person know about telepathy in the late 70s, however …).

We arrived at the River Port. The “browns” took to the square. An oncoming bus passed the bus, which was still at the bus stop. It took 3-4 seconds. When the view was cleared, no one was on the square. There were no (at that time there were) buildings nearby, behind which one could hide, no cars or trolleybuses stopped, on which one could leave.

Here's a story. What could it be? Let's try to sort out the explanations. Option one is hallucination. Then the grandmother with the Bible also hallucinated at the same time as this woman?

The second option is a rare case with the simultaneous travel of five identical twins, who, for joke, dressed in exactly the same way. But where did they disappear to in the square at Rechport?

Option three is not people. And there are also questions: who are they? What were they doing on the Kopylovo Peninsula? Why did you go to the Komsomolsk region? And again - where did they go?
