The mysterious unidentified flying object 1991 VG has been stirring the minds of ufologists and astronomers for decades. For the first time, the approach of 1991 VG with our planet was recorded in 1975. The next time a mysterious object appeared nearby in 1991. Now the object is expected to reappear this summer. Should I be afraid of him?

Skeptics claim that this is space debris, while ufologists believe that this is an alien ship. And manned. In any case, experts are already calculating its trajectory and preparing equipment for observation. It is expected to travel over the southern hemisphere of the Earth.

According to NASA estimates, about 5 thousand tons of debris are now flying around the Earth - fragments of solar batteries, loose nuts, non-working satellites, upper stages of launch vehicles, and so on. The real fact speaks about how dangerous these "waste" can be. On January 28, 2013, the Russian scientific nanosatellite BLITS suddenly disappeared from the screens. BLITS crashed into smithereens, colliding with a piece of space debris measuring only 0.017-0.019 grams! True, he moved at a speed many times higher than the speed of a racing car - 8 km / s.

More recently, on January 25, an asteroid 2017 BX, the size of a regular bus (about 14 meters), passed by the Earth. It was discovered by the online observatory Slooh and, according to NASA's classification, is part of the Apollo group - near-Earth bodies that cross the orbit of our planet from the outside. But, according to experts, 2017 BX was too small to do much trouble.

Nevertheless, there are at least five truly dangerous space objects.

Previously, the most formidable was the asteroid 2004 MN4 (Apophis). However, now NASA has practically ruled out the possibility of its collision with the Earth. But this does not mean that the threat has completely disappeared. Another date awaits us in 2036.

And four years earlier, in 2032, the object 1950 DA will approach our planet. Its diameter is 1.4 kilometers. The maximum convergence will occur on March 16, 2880.

Visits to Earth of the asteroid 2011 AG5 (falling - not falling, no one knows) will take place in 2036, 2040, 2045, 2046, 2051, 2052 and 2057.

Asteroid 2007 VK184 may collide with us in June 2048.

The main potentially dangerous object for the Earth, according to NASA, is now the asteroid 101955 (1999 RQ36) Benu. The possibility of a collision with it falls on the period from 2169 to 2199.

Be that as it may, NASA scientists believe the existence of aliens is quite real. At the very least, they quite seriously promise to find them within the next 20 years. And the famous theoretical physicist, Nobel laureate Stephen Hawking warns:

- There are 100 billion galaxies in the Universe, each of which contains hundreds of millions of stars. It is unlikely that Earth is the only place where life develops. But imagine that aliens can exist in giant spaceships, destroying all the resources of their home planet. In this case, contact with them would be a disaster for us - just like the arrival of Christopher Columbus for the American Indians. Our civilization will be destroyed. Are we ready for this?
