Once my friends and I decided to celebrate the New Year outside the city - in an ordinary country house, which was being renovated and completed, but in one half of it, where there were two stoves, it was quite possible to be in the winter. Four people and two dogs came here. They decided to celebrate the New Year in the yard - it turned out very non-standard.
Hit the wall of the house
Shortly before midnight, I noticed a clearly visible strange green ball hovering in the sky. I thought it was a trail of some kind of fireworks. The ball hung for a while and disappeared. The New Year passed without incident, and on January 1, three of our company needed to go to the city, they had to return only the next day. I stayed with two dogs with me.
In the evening I went into the kitchen, looked out the window and froze with surprise. Yesterday's ball was hanging in the sky - only it became much larger, the size of a television dish. Hanging and, as it were, peering out the window. To be honest, I felt uneasy. I quickly walked back into the warm room, shutting the doors tightly behind me. And at that time something hit the wall of the house.
The dog smelled someone
The blow was so strong that the window pane rattled. As if some hero with all his might hit the wall with a big mallet. A dog barked loudly, shortly before that asked to go into the yard. It made me feel good. I thought: apparently, some late reveler from the neighboring suburban area passed by and threw a stone at the wall. Without hesitation, I jumped out onto the porch, grabbing a hatchet just in case.

It was dark outside, and a dog was barking angrily, clearly sensing someone. And what amazed me was that no more sounds were heard. No squeak of snow, no voices. I felt uneasy again.
But I still found the strength to go around the house. And suddenly I see - the yard is crossed diagonally by a green ball, similar to the one that I saw through the window, but reduced in size. It was like a man walking through the yard with a flashlight on. Only this "flashlight" was floating at a height of about five meters above the ground. The ball reached the gate and disappeared. The dog stopped barking immediately.
The mysteries are not over
When I returned to the house, I found that the second dog had climbed under the bed and did not want to get out of there. My heart was racing too. However, nothing else unusual happened that night. In the morning, I carefully examined the yard and found blood stains in several places near the fence. There were footprints in the snow. I wanted to take a picture of them, but the phone was dead, and for some reason the charging did not work. I thought that if an animal came into the yard at night, the dog would rush at it, and I, I repeat, except for the dog's barking, did not hear any other sounds.
When my friends returned, I told them about an unusual incident. With their phones everything was in order, there was an opportunity to take pictures. A surprise awaited us in the yard. Yesterday's tracks were covered with snow, but fresh prints appeared in the snow. But after all, when our friends returned, we passed here - and there were no new tracks on the fresh snow.
However, the riddles did not end there. Already at home, looking through the photos, we found mysterious balls on two of them - just in those pictures where I showed the guys how I saw a green ball in the window from the kitchen. We photographed on a cloudy day, when there was not even a hint of the sun. Technique failure? But in other pictures nothing of the kind was captured. What happened on the first day of that new year is still a mystery to me.
